Veterinary Technician

Experienced vet tech with minimum of 1 -5year experience. Certified Vet Tech given highest consideration. Important skills include: surgical assistance, animal restraint, lab and pre-op preparation, IV placement, taking X-rays, and especially customer relations. Background check, drug testing and references required.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary care by performing examinations and administering treatments as directed by veterinarians.
• Assist in animal restraint and catheterization procedures to ensure the safety and comfort of pets.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of treatments and procedures.
• Educate pet owners on proper care and health management for their animals.
• Support laboratory work, including sample collection and analysis, as needed.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment in the clinic.
• Surgery experience is highly recommended.
