$42.34/hr (W2) – Minimal Flexibility

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flex schedule available)
About the Role
We are hiring an
Electrical Engineer
to support
transmission system modeling and analysis
for medium, high, and extra-high voltage systems. This is a
fully onsite role
in Tulsa, OK. Candidates must hold an
Electrical Engineering degree
(Engineering Technology degrees do not qualify).
Client does not sponsor visas
Preference given to local or nearby candidates
Key Responsibilities
- Model transmission system topology, impedance, and facility ratings using
PSS/E
and/or
ASPEN OneLiner - Build
power flow and short circuit models
for current and future transmission systems - Perform
fault studies
and
circuit breaker duty analysis - Model
wind and solar (inverter-based)
and
synchronous generation - Support engineering and operations teams via
ServiceNow
requests - Conduct
transmission system analysis and protection studies - Support
NERC compliance activities - Collaborate across internal and external engineering teams
- Assist with project planning and technical problem resolution
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering
(ABET-accredited preferred) - Engineering Technology degrees do not qualify
- Hands-on experience with
ASPEN OneLiner and/or Siemens PSS/E - Experience modeling:
- Transmission lines, transformers, circuit breakers
- Inverter-based (wind/solar) and synchronous generation
- Experience with
NERC Compliance standards - Strong data validation, comparison, and clean-up skills
- Experience with process improvement and documentation
Experience Levels
Electrical Engineer Associate (Entry Level):
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- FE exam encouraged (preferred)
Electrical Engineer:
- 2+ years of electrical engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- Master's or PhD may qualify for this level
Additional Notes
- Onsite role – no remote or hybrid
- Minimal rate flexibility
- Local Tulsa candidates preferred
- 12-month contract with potential for conversion
