We are seeking a Restaurant Floor & Events Manager who leads with warmth, confidence, and purpose someone who believes great hospitality is both an art and a discipline.

The Role:

This is a high-impact leadership position combining hands-on floor management with full ownership of private events and experiences. You will be a visible leader on the floor, a trusted partner to guests, and an entrepreneurial driver of event revenue.

You are equally comfortable:

  • Leading a packed dinner service
  • Hosting and nurturing guest relationships
  • Selling, planning, and executing events from first inquiry to final farewell
  • Coaching teams to deliver hospitality at the highest level

Compensation Transparency
The salary range reflects base compensation only.
This role includes uncapped commission on every event booked and executed.

Your drive, creativity, and follow-through directly impact your income.

Core Responsibilities Guest Experience & Floor Leadership:

  • Lead daily floor operations, including opening or closing shifts.
  • Be a constant, visible presence on the floor engaging guests, guiding service flow, and setting the tone.
  • Create personalized, elevated guest experiences that turn first-time visitors into regulars.
  • Anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns with grace, and ensure every interaction reflects Windmills' hospitality standards.

Events Sales, Planning & Execution:
Own the entire lifecycle of events, including:

  • Guest meetings & relationship building
  • Concept development and proposal creation
  • Contracting and financial structuring
  • On-site execution with the service team
  • Translate guest vision into seamless, memorable experiences.
  • Execute events on the floor, ensuring service excellence and operational precision.
  • Apply strong financial acumen to pricing, margins, and profitability.

Business Development & Marketing:

  • Actively generate new event business through networking, outreach, and cold calling.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Windmills in the community.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, promotions, and storytelling around events and seasonal offerings.
  • Identify new opportunities to grow event revenue & guest engagement.

Sales, Negotiation & Revenue Growth:

  • Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and partners to create win-win outcomes for guests and the venue.
  • Confidently upsell menu items, beverage packages, enhancements, and add-ons that elevate the guest experience.
  • Balance revenue growth with quality, integrity, and guest trust.

Team Leadership & Culture:

  • Lead, train, and mentor front-of-house teams for events services.
  • Coach team members through real-time service, feedback, and development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, pride, collaboration, and joy.
  • Partner with leadership to uphold service standards & team morale.

Operations & Organization:

  • Manage event and operational budgets with a disciplined, quality-driven approach.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records for bookings, contracts, BEOs, and event logistics.
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and service standards are consistently met.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in restaurant management within hospitality-driven environments.
  • Strong background in banquet & event planning with hands-on execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell, upsell, and grow revenue streams.
  • Strong financial understanding (pricing, budgeting, cost control).
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Natural leadership presence with exceptional communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong time-management abilities.
  • Passion for guest experience & people development.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, or event-driven hospitality strongly preferred.
  • Fundraising or large-scale event experience is a plus.
  • Strong Computer Skills (Microsoft Office and Toast)
  • Strong understanding of diverse cuisine and beverage

Pay: $50, $60,000.00 per year
