Our Nashville, Tennessee facility is looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our logistics team. This role is fundamental to fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. As an Order Picker, you will navigate our warehouse to retrieve specified items, ensuring that each order is picked correctly before it moves to the packing stage. A strong commitment to accuracy, speed, and safety is crucial. Your contributions are vital to the success of our supply chain and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Utilize RF scanners or pick lists to identify and locate items efficiently.
- Verify that picked items match order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing or staging area.
- Meet or exceed established picking productivity standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and participate in stock checks as needed.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere within our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Good physical condition; ability to stand, walk, and move for the entire shift.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all logistics procedures.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is preferred.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
