We are hiring motivated Distribution Center Associates for our Washington, D.C. location. In this role, you will be integral to the smooth functioning of our distribution operations, handling a variety of tasks that support our logistics network. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, picking, and packing orders with precision and care. This position requires individuals who are reliable, efficient, and committed to upholding high standards of safety and productivity. You'll be part of a team dedicated to moving goods through our supply chain effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using handheld scanners.
- Pack items carefully and efficiently for shipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns to management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics processes is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
