Are you an efficient and detail-oriented individual looking for an Order Picker position in Dallas, Texas? Our logistics center is seeking motivated team members to accurately fulfill customer orders. You will be instrumental in ensuring that products are picked, verified, and prepared for shipment in a timely manner. This role requires precision, speed, and a strong commitment to maintaining inventory integrity. You will operate scanning devices to track items and update order statuses. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are required to follow strict safety protocols and utilize provided PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movement and update order status.
- Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
- Prepare picked items for the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in inventory checks and stocktaking activities.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and product labels.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to safety standards and use of PPE.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse logistics.
