Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive Warehouse Coordinator for our Washington, D.C. facility. This role is integral to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations, involving the coordination of various warehouse activities. You will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, ensuring accuracy in receiving and dispatch, and supporting the overall efficiency of the warehouse. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures are essential. You will work closely with the warehouse team and external partners to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods. A commitment to safety and adherence to all protocols are paramount.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and process shipping and receiving documents.
  • Schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve logistical issues.
  • Ensure warehouse organization and cleanliness, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Monitor compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
  • Operate warehouse equipment as needed and ensure proper maintenance.
  • Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies and operational challenges.
  • Support tasks that may require occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse coordination or logistics support role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in inventory management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of safety protocols in a logistics environment.
  • Ability to perform occasional lifting of materials.
