We are seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our vibrant team in San Diego, California. In this role, you will be at the forefront of fulfilling customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from selection to shipment. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking items based on order forms, preparing them for packaging, and ensuring they are properly boxed and labeled. This position is vital to our logistics operations, requiring meticulous attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety. You will work with modern warehouse technology to streamline the picking and packing process and contribute to maintaining high inventory accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure correctness.
- Package products securely and efficiently for safe transit.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks or pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Use scanning devices or other technology to track inventory movements.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Follow all company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to achieving team productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting up to 45 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to following safety protocols.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Comfortable working with technology such as scanners.
