We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our bustling warehouse in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This is a hands-on position critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their products correctly and on time. We value safety and teamwork above all.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order sheets or scanning equipment.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Follow all guidelines for Lifting and material handling.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear designated PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
