Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure all warehouse operations (receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping) are conducted efficiently and accurately.
- Develop and implement work schedules and assign tasks to team members.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to existing staff.
- Monitor and enforce all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Address and resolve operational issues and employee concerns.
- Maintain productivity records and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Oversee activities that may involve significant lifting and material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics .
- Knowledge of safety regulations and experience implementing them.
- Ability to assess and guide tasks involving lifting and physical exertion.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Commitment to ensuring the use of proper PPE .
