Our Chicago, Illinois warehouse is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our team! This is a fundamental role in our logistics operation, involving a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient handling and storage of goods. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing shipments. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and verify shipments against order forms.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Follow all Safety protocols and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Report any safety hazards or operational issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals within our logistics framework.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong commitment to Safety and adherence to rules.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
