Are you a certified Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania? We are seeking skilled individuals to operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks within our fast-paced logistics facility. Your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient movement of materials, loading and unloading trucks, and stocking inventory. Safety is our highest priority, and all operators must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Safety procedures and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires precision, agility, and the ability to perform tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and store materials properly, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
- Support overall logistics operations with timely material handling.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety standards and the correct use of PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
