Join our thriving logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a Material Handler! We are looking for energetic individuals to manage the movement of materials throughout our distribution center. Your primary duties will involve operating material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring the accurate staging of goods. Safety is our top priority; therefore, all employees are required to follow strict Safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position demands physical capability, including the ability to handle substantial Lifting of materials. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Move materials to and from production, storage, and loading areas.
- Inspect equipment for defects and report issues immediately.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Certified to operate specific warehouse machinery (or willing to obtain certification).
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent Lifting and bending.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics setting.
