Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Implement and enforce all warehouse policies and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with external carriers and internal departments to ensure timely movement of goods.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse facility.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of all warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all employees consistently use required PPE .
  • Handle operational issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Assist with physical tasks when required, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans for staff.
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the company's logistics strategy.
  • Maintain positive relationships with team members and management.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role is required. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics . Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software. Comprehensive understanding of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations. Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be capable of working effectively under pressure and making sound decisions. Willingness to wear all required PPE and champion a strong culture of safety throughout the operation.
