We are seeking an efficient and accurate Picker/Packer to join our distribution center in Miami, Florida. This role is crucial for ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and promptly. You will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from inventory based on order specifications and then carefully packing them to ensure they arrive safely. This position requires a high level of focus, attention to detail, and the ability to work at a consistent pace. Regular physical activity, including frequent Lifting and moving of products, is part of the job. We prioritize Safety and provide a secure working environment with competitive pay and benefits. Adherence to Safety regulations, proper Lifting practices, and consistent use of all provided PPE are mandatory for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using order lists and scanning devices.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy against pick lists before packing.
- Apply correct shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking and packing station.
- Contribute to inventory accuracy through diligent scanning and reporting.
- Follow all Safety protocols and company policies.
- Utilize proper Lifting techniques when handling merchandise.
- Wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse roles is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent Lifting and bending.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Logistics and inventory systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
