We have an opening for a skilled Order Picker at our Nashville, Tennessee location. This position is key to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled with speed and accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order slips and electronic pick lists.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and confirm order accuracy.
- Package selected items securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and assist with other material handling tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a safe warehouse environment.
- Perform quality checks on picked items to ensure they match order requirements.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Strive to meet or exceed daily picking goals while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Regularly engage in lifting items, with some weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Support the broader logistics team by assisting with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order documents accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Capacity to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning technology is advantageous.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and proper product handling in a logistics setting.
- Must wear designated PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
