Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to transport, stack, and retrieve palletized goods.
- Position and stack materials accurately in racking systems, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on the reach truck to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning products and locations.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including traffic rules within the warehouse.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any equipment malfunctions, damages, or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and stock placement as needed.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Manage the safe Lifting and movement of goods, understanding load capacities and limitations.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification and proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret load tags and inventory information.
- Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform tasks related to material handling.
- Capacity for Lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and reflexes.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
