We are seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our logistics team in Miami, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse locations to fulfill customer orders. This role is critical to our supply chain, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will work with state-of-the-art warehouse management systems and handheld scanners to locate items and confirm picks. We are looking for individuals with excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a growing logistics operation.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve specific items from designated warehouse locations based on order pick tickets or scanner prompts.
- Verify product information and quantity against the order to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated staging or packing areas using appropriate equipment.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventory checks as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your work area and the warehouse.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure workplace.
- Properly use and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
- Meet individual and team performance goals for picking accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage the safe Lifting and movement of products, understanding weight limits and utilizing available assistance or equipment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists, labels, and alphanumeric codes.
- Proficiency in using handheld scanners and warehouse management software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capacity to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to consistently perform Lifting tasks of up to 45 lbs.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Dedication to following all safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
