Our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location is looking for a reliable Shipping Clerk to manage outbound shipments. This role is vital to our **logistics** operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for processing orders, preparing shipments, and coordinating with carriers. Your daily tasks will involve:
- Processing customer orders for shipment using our dispatch system.
- Picking, packing, and labeling items with precision.
- Ensuring that all packages are prepared according to shipping standards.
- Coordinating with FedEx, UPS, and other carriers for package pickups.
- Generating shipping manifests and tracking information.
- Verifying outgoing shipments for accuracy before dispatch.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shipping department.
- Strict adherence to all **safety** protocols and the use of required **PPE** (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Occasional **lifting** of boxes up to 35 pounds.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, has a keen eye for detail, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with shipping software or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
