This critical role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of our warehouse inventory through meticulous tracking, auditing, and reconciliation processes. You will work to minimize discrepancies, identify root causes of inventory issues, and implement solutions to prevent future errors. This position requires a sharp mind, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of inventory management principles within a logistics environment. Your work will directly impact our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Maintaining a high level of accuracy and ensuring proper safety procedures are followed is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement and refine inventory control procedures.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure adherence to inventory policies.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, including strict adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels and report on slow-moving or obsolete items.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives related to inventory management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles is a plus. Must be able to perform tasks involving occasional physical activity, including Lifting up to 30 lbs. Commitment to workplace safety and appropriate use of PPE is required.
