We are seeking dependable Warehouse Associates to join our growing logistics team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Your ability to work efficiently, maintain accuracy, and adhere to safety standards will be crucial for success in this dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Stock shelves and storage locations with incoming goods, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Pick items from inventory according to order specifications using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring protection against damage.
- Prepare orders for shipment, applying labels and staging them correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate manual material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and other inventory management tasks.
- Support overall logistics operations to meet performance goals.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing/walking for the duration of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory.
- Understanding and commitment to warehouse safety rules and the importance of using PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Familiarity with basic logistics concepts is a plus.
