We are seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency. This position is crucial to our logistics operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders and pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for quality assurance and verify quantities.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Stage packed orders for timely dispatch and carrier pickup.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory and update order status.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all warehouse standards.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as required.
- Support the overall logistics process, contributing to smooth workflow.
- Perform manual tasks including moderate Lifting and movement of goods.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Dedication to safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet productivity targets in a fast-paced setting.
- Good manual dexterity and coordination.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
