We are seeking an organized and diligent Receiving Clerk to join our Logistics team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring that all goods are accurately received, inspected, and documented. Your attention to detail is critical for maintaining inventory integrity and supporting the smooth flow of materials within our warehouse. This position requires a methodical approach, adherence to Safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. We are committed to providing a safe workspace and empowering our team members to excel in their roles within our Logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify the contents of shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and other documentation.
- Inspect goods for damage, discrepancies, or defects, and report any issues immediately.
- Accurately document all received goods into the inventory management system (WMS).
- Tag and label received items appropriately for internal tracking.
