The Integrated Solutions, Modeling, and Architecture (ISMA) center assesses, develops, and evaluates solution architectures for our customers’ largest, most complex challenges across all the operational domains. In the Operations and Mission Analysis Department you’ll be part of a special team that analyzes the world’s most challenging threats and helps define new capabilities to counter them, pushing the boundaries of innovation, and leading the industry in operational modeling and simulation using our purpose-built software.
As a team member in the Airborne Kill Chain AI/ML Section, you will join a high-performing team of engineers working with high-fidelity missile simulations to construct decision support systems used by the warfighter. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Simulation Analysis Engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ .
What You Will Do
Support the design, development, and/or utilization of high-fidelity digital simulation software in advanced technical computing environments.
Contribute to trade studies to assess system performance of weapons against a variety of threats in a variety of kill chain scenarios.
Contribute your knowledge of performance engineering practices, and procedures, to evaluate work across a wide range of intriguing computational problems to answer questions such as: what should be the next system improvement; or what is the effectivity of the missile against a single or multiple threats; or what counter measures should be considered to increase effectivity and/or survivability and other operational performance related questions.
Collaborate in a team environment, receiving input from the program, external customers, or team experts, and work on varied projects, as you determine, develop, and implement analytic approaches that will generate the supporting data to inform programmatic decisions.
Participate in the development and implementation of model-based solutions to power decision support systems, and participate in validation and testing models, software components and/or integrated systems.
Occasional travel as needed to support the customer/ Program. (
