*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist with Mammography Certification (preferred) to join our dedicated imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical imaging, including X-ray and mammography, with a focus on delivering precise diagnostic evaluations. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care in a healthcare environment that values technical expertise and compassionate service.
*Duties*
* Perform diagnostic radiology procedures such as X-ray and mammography with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ensure adherence to techniques and safety protocols to maintain a sterile environment and protect patient health.
* Assist physicians in diagnostic evaluations by providing high-quality images for interpretation.
* Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging results in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Operate advanced imaging equipment while troubleshooting technical issues promptly to minimize delays.
* Educate patients about procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the process.
* Collaborate with emergency room staff and other healthcare providers in urgent care settings when applicable.
*Qualifications*
* Certification in Mammography from an accredited program; additional certifications in other modalities (CT / Dexa / MRI, etc.) provides uplifts in the rate of pay.
* Proven experience in diagnostic radiology within out-patient clinic, urgent care or emergency room environments..
* Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately position patients and interpret imaging results.
* Familiarity with medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging safety standards.
* Experience operating X-ray equipment, and other diagnostic tools.
* Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes and the ability to work efficiently in an acute medical setting.
* Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
