divh2Data Cloud Engineer/h2pAdvantech GS Enterprises is seeking a Data Cloud Engineer with expertise in cloud-based data architecture, security compliance, and analytics to support the DISA NEXUS program at Fort Meade. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and secure cloud-enabled data solutions within Azure and AWS, leveraging best practices in data management, automation, and DoD compliance. This is an exciting, long-term opportunity offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus and the chance to contribute to a five-year federal program focused on data modernization and multi-cloud integration./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliDesign, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes across Azure and AWS platforms./liliDevelop and optimize data models, data lakes, and data warehouses to support mission analytics and reporting./liliIntegrate structured and unstructured data from multiple systems into secure, centralized repositories./liliCollaborate with cloud and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with DoD STIGs, RMF, and FedRAMP standards./liliImplement and enforce data governance, integrity, and access controls across the cloud data environment./liliWork extensively with Oracle databases for data extraction, transformation, and migration into cloud environments./liliUtilize tools such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Databricks, SQL, and Power BI for data orchestration and analytics./liliMonitor and enhance data performance, ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability./liliSupport ongoing cloud modernization efforts and provide technical expertise for data-driven decision-making./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliActive Secret Clearance (required)/liliBachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field/lili5+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, or cloud data solutions/liliHands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud data services (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Redshift, S3, Synapse, etc.)/liliStrong SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and automation/li/ulpDesired Experience:/pulliExperience with Workday HCM projects, including integrations, reporting, and data migration/liliKnowledge of IT HCM processes and cloud-based HR solutions/liliWorkday certifications (e.g., Workday HCM Core, Workday Integration, Workday Reporting/Analytics)/liliExperience supporting enterprise cloud implementations and cross-functional teams/liliFamiliarity with SDLC, Agile methodology, and collaboration with DevOps/software development teams/li/ul/div
