Job Title: Speech Therapist

Certifications: Current Certificate of Clinical Competency by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Must-Have: Current CPR recognition
Description:
The Speech Therapist is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment upon physician referral to a patient population consisting of varying diagnoses.
The Speech Therapist will assess, identify, and treat all areas of deficits impacting communication, cognition, and swallowing.
The Speech Therapist provides instruction and education to the patient/caregiver to promote the safe execution of the facilitatory techniques taught.
Additional information: Holiday coverage may be required.
This position requires the Speech Therapist to float as needed for Med/Surg and Critical Care departments.
