In this role, you will:
- Perform outpatient and ER triage, assessing patients and prioritizing care appropriately.
- Provide exceptional patient care in the exam room and treatment areas, supporting both inpatient and outpatient cases.
- Perform phlebotomy, place IV catheters, collect lab samples, and run in-house laboratory tests.
- Assist with and monitor sedated procedures, outpatient treatments, and hospitalized patients.
- Carry out veterinarian-directed treatments accurately and efficiently while maintaining detailed medical records.
This position is ideal for a self-starter with strong technical skills who is comfortable in a dynamic ER environment and committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to every patient.
Schedule: This is a full-time position, with a 5 x 8 schedule and availability needed Monday - Sunday. We're looking for someone to work from 12pm to 8 pm with the weekend shifts on a rotating basis.

- Compensation: $20 - 25 per hour, for each hour worked*

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
- 3+ years of veterinary assistant experience in a clinical setting REQUIRED
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Phlebotomy
- IV Catheter placement
- Inpatient and outpatient care
- Radiology & lab skills
- Triage & Client Communication
