divh2Azure Data Engineer/h2pPlateau GRP is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to support a major data modernization initiative for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The selected candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing modern data platforms and analytics solutions in the Microsoft Azure environment. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, consultative ability, and collaboration skills to work across diverse teams supporting data governance, cloud architecture, and advanced analytics efforts./ppKey Responsibilities/pulliDesign and build scalable Azure-based data pipelines, architectures, and data services to support FDICs modernization objectives./liliDevelop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows, data lake and warehouse structures, and data integration solutions./liliImplement best practices for data governance, data quality, and metadata management within the Azure environment./liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant management of structured and unstructured data./liliSupport big data, advanced analytics, and reporting/dashboarding solutions using Azure cloud technologies./liliContribute to the design of cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions, including serverless, containerized, and pay-per-use architectures./liliApply machine learning (ML) and MLOps practices to operationalize and monitor data science models./liliEnsure enterprise-grade data security, access control, and cloud operations in alignment with FDIC standards./liliCollaborate in Agile teams, providing technical insight and clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders./li/ulpRequirements/ppRequired Qualifications/pulliBA/BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience./liliMinimum of 3 years of experience in technical roles such as developer, systems analyst, or data engineer./liliThis position requires US Citizenship and the ability to pass/obtain any required government background check or security clearance. An active security is preferred./liliStrong consultative skills and ability to operate effectively across functional teams./liliExcellent presentation and communication skills with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts clearly./liliSolid project and team management experience within Agile environments./liliOne or more Microsoft Azure Cloud Certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure AI Engineer)./liliEnterprise-scale experience in:/liulliCloud and hybrid infrastructures/liliEnterprise solution architecture/liliData pipelines and integration/liliCloud and data security/liliData management and cloud operations/li/ulliHands-on experience with:/liulliAzure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Data Lake, and Power BI/liliSQL and NoSQL database technologies/liliServerless, container-based, and event-driven architectures/liliBig Data and Advanced Analytics in Azure environments/liliData Governance, Data Engineering, and Data Science workflows/liliMachine Learning and MLOps best practices/li/ul/ulpPreferred Qualifications/pulliPrior experience supporting federal data modernization or enterprise transformation programs./liliFamiliarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in Azure environments./liliProficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, or similar languages for data transformation and analysis./liliExperience integrating AI and analytics solutions with data platforms./li/ulpPlateau does not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters without a signed third-party agreement.
