Your contribution:Support of Clarios and our customers during the battery system development and vehicle integration according to Clarios’ product development process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical interface to the customer:
    • for providing remote or on-site technical support during battery integration, testing and production failures
    • for customer battery lab- and vehicle integration and testing.
    • to analyze battery failures or integration issues
    • to lead and track resolution of issues reported from customer battery integration, testing and field failures
  • Internal technical interface to the quality department:
    • Lead of failure analysis and battery tear down to support the 4D/8D process
  • Preparation, execution and documentation of technical reviews according to Clarios product development process.
  • Support the product engineering team:
    • Analysis and detail clarification of customer specifications
    • Definition of Integration Tests according to the V-model
    • Test analysis and preparation of test reports
    • Preparation of Test schedule
    • Support of DFMEA
    • Participation and reporting in the product engineering development teams (SDT/EDT)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering or equivalent experience

or Technical Master’s degree (thesis track or equivalent) in related field with some industry experience preferably in Automotive

  • Working knowledge and/or trained in PPAP, FMEA, Requirements Analysis and System Integration
  • Proficient in using CAN tools, e. g.:
    • Analysis of ECU measurement data
    • Software updates via CAN flashing
  • Experienced in embedded systems and software, preferred for automotive applications and electrical/electronic components
  • Experienced in analysis of test data and root cause analysis
  • Knowledge of battery technology is preferred
  • Profound professional experience in the automotive industry
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer support for complex technical products
    • Diplomatic, but technically clear way of communication
    • Personable and customer-centric attitude; confident, obliging and binding way of communication
    • Business-fluent in German and English languages
