Duties

• Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of hot, cold, and special-order dishes.
• Verify accuracy of orders before they leave the kitchen, ensuring presentation and portion standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen team regarding order modifications, special requests, or delays.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station to promote efficiency and food safety.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations during busy periods.
• Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas to uphold a clean environment for guests.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of food preparation and presentation.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with banquet service or large-scale events is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in diverse settings.
