Senior Forward Deployed Software Engineer, Full Stack

About the Opportunity:

The organization is focused on improving patient outcomes by providing clinicians with real-time data and insights to support decision-making at the point of care. This role involves leading and optimizing enterprise-level client technical implementations and contributing to the growth of the Forward Deployed Engineering team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise client implementations by understanding integration strategies and managing projects end-to-end.

• Develop frameworks and tooling to improve efficiency and speed of client integrations.

• Create and execute end-to-end testing plans for smooth and timely integrations.

• Collaborate with the Director of Engineering to define hiring strategies for the Forward Deployed Software Engineer team.

• Work cross-functionally with Client Success, Clinical, Product, and Data Science teams to align efforts and deliver impactful technology.

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or relevant technical discipline with 5+ years as a forward deployed engineer.

• 4+ years developing and deploying production-quality full stack applications (React, Typescript preferred).

• 4+ years creating and presenting technical design proposals including specifications, implementation, and test plans.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) in production environments.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with SMART on FHIR applications, EHR integration, and Health IT interoperability standards.

• Experience working with enterprise customers requiring agility and responsiveness.
