Armed Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Security Guard to protect property, assets, and personnel at our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security protocols, conflict management, and emergency response. This role requires a high level of alertness, integrity, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations. The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining safety and order while providing excellent surveillance and loss prevention services.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security standards are maintained
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if necessary
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism and de-escalation techniques
• Document incidents accurately through detailed reports and logs
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential threats or theft attempts
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and individuals as needed

Experience

• Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security is highly desirable
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred or willing to be obtained upon hire
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and security technology is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability in conflict management and crisis response
• Strong understanding of security protocols, loss prevention strategies, and legal regulations related to security operations
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in high-pressure situations
