Lead Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros, as well as a solid understanding of food safety and handling practices. The Bartender will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing inventory, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of supplies and equipment.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations.
• Operate POS systems (Aloha, Micros) efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy periods.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining accountability for all sales.
• Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or catering functions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for guests.
• Proficient in time management and multitasking in a high-pressure environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation methods is a plus.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and practices related to food handling.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
