JOB SUMMARY

As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods across various locations. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, your role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. Core skills in commercial driving and truck driving are essential, complemented by premium . Your experience as a delivery driver, along with relevant skills in load and unload operations, will contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our transportation services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Coordinate loading and unloading of deliveries using forklift or boom

· Operate truck mounted forklift

· Drive diesel powered tractor trailer combination

· Interstate deliveries of concrete masonry products

· Maintain oil/fluid checks

· Perform daily safety checks; belts, tires, lights, pulleys, suspension, and brake lines

· Prepare daily inspection, safety forms, daily logs

· Inspect loads for accurate product and quantities

· Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery statuses, location, road conditions, job site conditions

· Communicate in a professional manner with customers

· Abide by all company safety and DOT rules and regulations at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Maintain a valid CDL Class A or CDL Class B license

· Maintain a valid DOT card

· Clean driving record

· Preferred 1-2 years of recent tractor trailer driving experience

· Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment exam and DOT drug screen

· High School diploma or GED equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to sit for long periods of time

· Ability to stand, climb, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl as needed

· Ability to frequently lift and/or move 50-100lbs

· Specific vision abilities required

CDL B - $24 to $28 per hour (DOE)

CDL A - $27 to $30 per hour (DOE)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• CDL Driving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL B (Preferred)
