Medical Assistant/Receptionist/Floating

Ohio Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a flexible and motivated Medical Assistant (MA) who is willing to be cross-trained and travel to multiple office locations as needed. This role supports providers and clinical teams by ensuring efficient patient flow, high-quality care, and consistent clinical support across locations.

Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints

Assist providers with exams, procedures, injections, and minor treatments

Prepare exam rooms, maintain sterile supplies, and follow infection control protocols

Perform clinical tasks such as EKGs, X-rays (if applicable), wound care, and specimen handling per training

Crosstrain in additional clinical and operational duties as assigned

Travel to various office locations to provide coverage based on business needs

Support consistent workflows and standards across all locations

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Deliver excellent patient service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

Willingness and ability to travel to different Ohio Foot & Ankle Specialists locations in sure step

Schedule flexibility to support coverage needs, including occasional short-notice travel

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred (or equivalent experience)

Prior experience in a medical or clinical setting preferred

Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic during scheduled shifts

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with patient mobility when needed
