Dispatcher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating logistics and ensuring efficient communication between drivers, clients, and lot personnel. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Shfit is Monday & Tuesday 2:30PM-10:30PM

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule transportation ensuring timely delivery and pickup.
• Utilize GPS technology to track vehicles and optimize routes for efficiency.
• Manage phone systems to communicate effectively with drivers and clients, providing updates as necessary.
• Maintain records of fleet management activities, including vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Communicate clearly with team members to resolve any issues that arise during transportation.

Skills

• Proficiency in logistics management and supply chain processes.
• Familiarity with GPS systems for route optimization.
• Strong phone etiquette for effective communication with clients and drivers.
• Experience in shipping and receiving operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of fleet management principles to ensure vehicle efficiency.
• Experience using Santa Cruz Transportation Software or similar software is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly.

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Every weekend
