Residential Painter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Residential Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services on residential properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in both interior and exterior painting, with a strong understanding of surface preparation, color application, and finishing techniques. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently on renovation and remodeling projects. A background in painting is mandatory, along with familiarity with various tools and painting methods. The Residential Painter will play a vital role in transforming homes through expert painting and surface restoration.

Requirements: Painting Experience, No fear of heights/comfortable on ladders and own transportation to get to work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and repairing drywall or plaster to ensure optimal paint adhesion
• Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, or power tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or schematics for accurate project execution
• Perform trim carpentry, fixture installation, and stucco work as needed for comprehensive surface finishing
• Conduct surface repairs including plastering, masonry work, or concrete finishing to ensure smooth results
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during all phases of painting and restoration projects
• Estimate materials needed for each project accurately and assist with construction estimating when required
• Maintain a clean work environment and ensure safety protocols are followed on-site
• Collaborate with clients and team members to meet project specifications and deadlines

Experience

• Proven experience in residential painting or commercial painting
• Knowledge of various paint types suitable for different surfaces
• Skilled in the use of hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers, and ladders
• Hands-on experience with airless paint spraying and other advanced painting equipment is preferred
