Full Time Member Service Representative II

Impact is looking for a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Member Service Representative II. This position will be responsible for presenting, explaining and assisting members with credit union products and services. This position will report directly to the Office Manager and deals directly with members and potential members. Opportunity for advancement, on the job training and tuition reimbursement will be available for this full-time employee.

As a Member Service Representative you will…

· Create member loyalty with members and potential members by building relationships and exceeding their expectations with service.

· Assist members with the opening and closing of accounts, issuing checks, opening and maintaining IRAs, issuring certificates, drafts and other negotiable instruments.

· Reviews non-cash deposits and withdrawals from accounts

· Serve as a Teller when needed during busy periods, lunch breaks and scheduled vacation times.

· Provides service to member inquiries regarding member products and services

· Assists members to resolve discrepancies, balancing and reconciling, adding or reducing service features

· Provides assistance to members to ensure the most effective usage of products and services

· Upsell product and services to Impact Credit Union members according to their individual needs

· Processes several types of financial transactions

Qualifications:

· Highschool diploma or equivalent. Additional coursework or certification in finance, banking or a related field is beneficial.

· At least 2-3 years related experience in a full-service financial institution.

· Exceptional reasoning skills, communication skills and mathematical skills

· Experience with financial institution processing systems

· Ability to stand for long periods, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as well as lift up to 50lbs
