Job Type:Contract (1099 – No benefits/insurance)
Pay: $65–$85 per hour (based on experience, setting, and caseload needs)

Position Overview
Speech Heart Co. is seeking school-based speech providers to serve students in Katy ISD on a 1099 contract basis, including:
Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with school experience
Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFs)
Speech-Language Pathologists with CCCs (SLP-CCC)
Bilingual providers (English/Spanish strongly preferred)
This role is ideal for clinicians seeking flexibility, autonomy, and structured clinical support within a public school environment.
Responsibilities
Provide speech-language therapy services to students within Katy ISD in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines
Deliver services appropriate to role and licensure (SLPA, CF, or CCC-SLP)
Participate in ARD/IEP processes as applicable to role
Maintain accurate and timely documentation per district and company expectations
Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
Participate in weekly check-in meetings for caseload support and clinical guidance
Communicate proactively regarding caseload needs or concerns
Compensation & Support
Hourly Rate: $65–$85/hour (rates vary by role, experience, and bilingual status)
1099 Contractor Position (no insurance benefits)
Caseload monitoring to promote balance and avoid overload
Weekly check-in meetings for clinical support and problem-solving
CF supervision provided in accordance with state and ASHA requirements
Flexible scheduling aligned with the school calendar
Supportive, clinician-owned practice
Requirements
Appropriate licensure or certification for role (SLPA, SLP-CF, or SLP-CCC)
School-based experience required for SLPAs
Active Texas license or eligibility
ASHA CCCs preferred for SLPs; CFs must meet supervision requirements
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates encouraged to apply
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong communication and documentation skills
