Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
• Upsell menu items by recommending popular dishes, beverages, or specials to enhance the guest experience
• Clear tables efficiently, bus tables as needed, and assist with general sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while maintaining food safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
• Experience with food safety practices, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling techniques
• Familiarity with reservation management tools like OpenTable is a plus
• Previous host/host or serving experience in the food industry is highly desirable
