TIG Welder

E B Industries is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our newly established TIG welding department. This part time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a high precision manufacturing environment, handling intricate aerospace and industrial components. When TIG welding tasks are not required, this individual will also take on general shop floor responsibilities, providing additional flexibility and support to our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• TIG Welding: Perform precision TIG welding on a variety of components, particularly for aerospace and other high-specification applications.
• Inspection: Conduct microscope inspections and other inspection methods to ensure all welds and components meet strict quality standards.
• Shop Floor Support: Assist with the handling of machined and precise aerospace components, utilizing a variety of inspection methods for quality assurance.
• Maintenance & Multitasking: Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work area. Be flexible in supporting additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• TIG Welding Certification: Certification in TIG welding is highly preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years of TIG welding experience in a precision manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience in aerospace or similarly regulated industries is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in TIG welding techniques, with experience handling complex and precise components. Familiarity with inspection methods, including microscope inspection, is a plus.
• Flexibility & Adaptability: Must be willing to take on shop floor tasks beyond welding, as required by daily operations.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality control and precision is essential.

Job Type: Part-time
