Medical Assistant

We are a primary care practice with three providers seeking a dedicated, reliable, and compassionate Front Office Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage a high call volume, and provide excellent patient service while supporting both administrative and clinical workflows.

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM

(No weekends)

Responsibilities:

• Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls professionally and efficiently
• Schedule appointments for three providers and coordinate patient flow
• Greet, check in, and check out patients
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information; collect co-pays
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) E Clinical Works
• Handle referrals, messages, and front-office paperwork
• Communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant certification preferred or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in a primary care or high-volume medical office preferred
• Strong multitasking, organization, and communication skills
• Comfortable handling a busy phone system
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR system
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused
• Must love dogs — we have a friendly furry office pet

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
