Order Picker/Puller

Job Summary:
The Order Puller / Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and staging products for shipment based on customer orders. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and pull products according to pick tickets, work orders, or handheld scanners
• Verify product quantity, item numbers, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy
• Stage, label, and prepare orders for packing or shipping
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or carts (forklift operation if certified)
• Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards at all times
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged items, or shortages to a supervisor
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards established by management

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, order picking, or distribution experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand pick tickets, labels, and basic inventory systems
• Basic math and counting skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs as required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
