Role Overview:
We are seeking an Operations & Growth Manager who will oversee and optimize our supply chain, support marketing and e-commerce initiatives, and step in wherever needed to keep the business moving forward. This is not a role for someone who only wants to manage from a distance—our ideal candidate thrives on rolling up their sleeves and tackling challenges head-on.
This senior leadership position is perfect for someone with a private equity, consulting, or high-growth consumer startup background, who wants to take ownership and make a direct impact in a company scaling rapidly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee end-to-end supply chain, including sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, fulfillment, and subscription operations to ensure timely, cost-efficient, and high-quality delivery of products.
- Process Optimization: Build and refine systems to support a scalable DTC operation, from demand forecasting to last-mile logistics.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement comprehensive expansion strategies and longer-term initiatives to scale up the supply chain.
- E-Commerce & DTC Growth: Ensure that all operational efforts work successfully in tandem with marketing initiatives to drive growth, minimize churn, and scale subscription revenue.
- Customer Experience: Collaborate with CX to ensure seamless order fulfillment, fast shipping, and high retention through top-tier service.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a key problem-solver across departments – jumping into projects spanning operations, finance, marketing, and partnerships.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics to optimize supply chain performance, marketing ROI, and DTC customer lifecycle metrics. Lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
- 5–7+ years of experience in management consulting, private equity, or high-growth/startup operations (DTC/e-commerce experience strongly preferred).
- Proven track record in supply chain, logistics, or operational leadership.
- Experience with direct-to-consumer brands, subscriptions, or e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Klaviyo, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills with a bias toward action.
- Team player with excellent communication skills, willingness to consider competing ideas in earnest, and learn from mistakes.
- Entrepreneurial mindset – comfortable in ambiguity, adaptable, and eager to get hands dirty.
- Ability to work on-site in Carlsbad, CA – we will consider hybrid arrangements with candidates based in Los Angeles, CA

Pay: $100, $125,000.00 per year
