About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Data & AI Lead to join our dynamic team remotely within the United States. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive technological innovation by transforming our data assets into real-time enterprise solutions. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and develop data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making. Your expertise in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence will be instrumental in creating predictive models, analyzing complex datasets, and delivering actionable insights. This role requires a proactive individual who stays current with industry trends and advancements, ensuring our organization remains at the cutting edge of data science and AI applications. The position involves moderate travel, primarily to our corporate headquarters in Fort Worth, TX, and offers a competitive salary range along with comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience building data science solutions or relevant experience
- Demonstrated understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques
- Proficiency with data visualization tools
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, and familiarity with Java or Scala
- Experience with data science cloud platforms
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn (preferred)
- Experience in transportation industries such as rail, shipping, airline, logistics, or supply chain (preferred)
- Knowledge of geospatial Python libraries (preferred)
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and develop innovative data-driven solutions
- Apply data science techniques to analyze large and complex datasets, uncover meaningful patterns, and generate insights
- Develop, implement, and refine machine learning models to predict outcomes and optimize processes
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide actionable recommendations
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Maintain and update data pipelines to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in data science, AI, and machine learning to continuously improve capabilities
- Extract, aggregate, and synthesize data using SQL, NoSQL, and other relevant tools to support analysis and deployment
- Lead moderate to complex AI and machine learning projects, working closely with stakeholders to address business challenges
