Location: Jeffersonville, IN

Available Shifts:

1st - 7am - 3:10pm Monday - Friday

3rd - 11pm-7:10am Sunday - Thursday

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Operator to operate multiple manufacturing machines and perform a wide range of machining operations. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to producing high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate machines to perform tasks such as turning, milling, drilling, press brake, laser, and assembly.

· Study drawings and specifications to ensure parts meet quality standards.

· Perform inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.

· Conduct SPC analysis and maintain accurate data records.

· Monitor machine performance, adjust settings, and replace tools as needed.

· Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot tooling issues.

· Prepare materials, including loading bar stock or plastic materials into machines.

· Execute secondary operations like grinding, deburring, sanding, and polishing.

· Ensure cleanliness and proper condition of workstations and molds.

· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods.

· Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

· Specific vision abilities, including close vision and depth perception.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles.
• Moderate noise levels in the workspace.
• Adherence to safety standards and proper equipment usage.

• Strong understanding of metal properties, shop mathematics, and machining processes.
• Experience with measuring and inspection tools.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Problem-solving skills for analyzing and adjusting machine operations.
