Texas Frac, situated in northern Texas, specializes in producing sand for the foundry, glass, construction, and frac sand markets. With a commitment to quality and innovation, Texas Frac is a key contributor to the industries it serves.
The Aggregate Plant Manager oversees the entire plant and operations at the Texas Frac aggregate plant. This includes oversight of all mobile equipment, crusher, wash plant, and conveying. This position will actively discuss personnel and plant operations with the CEO and must be able to implement management's plan to provide sufficient quality materials for daily plant operations. The Aggregate Plant Manager is expected to hold a high standard of integrity to Texas Frac operations, providing leadership, direction, and control over all related functions in compliance with corporate, plant, and department policies and objectives. This position reports to the CEO of FLASH Family of Companies.
Job Requirements:
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Key duties of the Aggregate Plant Manager, but are not limited to:
  • Manage all parts of an aggregate production facility to include quarry development, operations, maintenance, crushing, screening, material handling and mobile equipment, subcontractors, safety program, environmental and community relations in accordance with company policy and government agencies.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the group in natural Aggregates Operation in the production of quality material at or below production cost
  • Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of employees in the production of aggregate material in a mining environment
  • Mobile equipment operator: wheel loader, excavator, dozer, haul truck, skid loader, screener, crusher, and wash plant
  • Operation and knowledge of gravel startup/shutdown procedures.
  • Keep operational logs for run times and feed rate as per TCEQ requirements.
  • Knowledge of material testing and specifications
  • Ensure proper training and inform operators of the correct operation of equipment to be efficient and safe.
  • Report all completed task training to safety personnel for documentation.
  • Work with supervision to gather mobile equipment inspection reports daily.
  • Assist Plant Maintenance and staff in plant related preventive maintenance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aggregates operations as well as significant experience in aggregate processing procedures
  • Minimum of 5 years of mobile equipment experience
  • Working knowledge and understanding of MSHA regulations and possess a strong personal commitment to safety
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Basic mechanical skills required.
  • Understand and comply with mining safety and environmental regulations.
  • Team?oriented, effective communicator (verbal and written), able to offer technical expertise and guidance, and
  • have the ability and willingness to build rapport with team members and external agencies.
  • Able and willing to work extended work schedules, overtime, weekends, and call ins, as necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Pass toxicity test.
  • Medical clearance to wear respiratory protection.
  • Capable of climbing stairs and access ladders several times per day
  • Capable of lifting to 75 pounds
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities appropriately.
  • Willingness to further training or education, if requested.
