Custodian

• Perform general janitorial duties to ensure cleanliness throughout the facility
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, lounge areas, and high-touch surfaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain various floor types (tile, carpet, concrete)
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the property
• Dust and wipe down counters, windows, and furniture
• Monitor facility cleanliness during business hours and respond promptly to spills or messes
• Report any facility or equipment maintenance needs to management
• Work independently to complete daily cleaning routines and take initiative to identify and address tasks outside of the standard checklist
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols and use appropriate cleaning supplies
• Perform other janitorial duties as assigned

• 1+ years of experience in custodial, janitorial, or industrial/commercial cleaning preferred
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
• Experience in floor care (buffing, polishing, stripping/waxing) is a plus
• Strong time management and task prioritization skills
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and physically demanding work
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly
• Ability to bend, reach, stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Comfortable working in an environment with loud music, cannabis smoke, and changing temperatures

This position operates within a dispensary, event, and lounge setting. The environment includes indoor and outdoor areas with exposure to music, customer traffic, and cannabis-related products. Work is performed in-person and does not require travel.

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized environment throughout the dispensary and lounge areas. This role ensures a safe and welcoming atmosphere for both customers and employees by performing routine cleaning, responding to facility needs, and upholding cleanliness standards. The position supports business operations by consistently completing daily tasks while also staying alert to any unexpected maintenance or cleanliness concerns.
