Evening Cleaner

Position Summary

This is a part time evening cleaning position in an office setting. Each clean is around 2-3 hours and the building is cleaned Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. All supplies are provided for and a paid training can start immediately.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our team in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong attention to detail and experience in janitorial services. The cleaner will be responsible for performing cleaning tasks during evening hours to ensure a hygienic and well-maintained environment for staff and visitors.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Utilize floor care equipment such as buffers and polishers to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas following established protocols.
• Handle waste disposal and restock supplies as needed.
• Conduct light maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting issues to maintenance teams.
• Ensure all cleaning activities comply with safety and health regulations.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order.

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles preferred.
• Experience with industrial cleaning, facilities maintenance, or porter duties is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during evening hours.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.0 – 9.0 per week

Work Location: In person
